kull Rider, specializing in the distribution of sunglasses and shirts, restructures its leadership to achieve new goals. The company, founded in 2014, gives a change of direction with the entrance of Sito entrepreneur Herrera, who has recently purchased shares of Reuben Vinegar, one of the founders of Skull Rider and was also part of the implementation of Hawkers.
From now on, Herrera will lead the project with the motorcycle rider Jorge Lorenzo, with which it expects to record sales of twelve million euros in 2017, as explained from the group Modaes.es.
Sito Herrera takes charge of Skull Rider after founding specializing in pet care company Terranova CNC. Herrera took 50% of the shares, which until last year in the hands of Ruben Vinegar, one of the founders of
Hawkers and undertook with Jorge Lorenzo with Skull Rider in 2014.
"We want to bring Skull Rider to the next level," Herrera said. The most ambitious target that have been marked with the banner for the coming years is to increase its turnover and multiply by six. The company closed 2016 with a turnover of two million euros. "In 2017 we want to register a million euros in sales each month, taking advantage of the changed and always attacking markets where it is summer season," adds Herrera.
Skull Rider wants to bill a million euros a month next year.
Skull Rider, which already has a staff of ten employees, began distributing only sunglasses and already has a collection ranging from T-shirts to swimsuits, through the caps. "We want to focus on culture as surfing," said Herrera, who also explains that Skull Rider is closely linked to other sports such as motorcycling.
In addition to raising its turnover, Skull Rider is also in negotiations with optical chains to bring their product to more outlets. "If signed an agreement that we are finalizing, Skull Rider will be available in a hundred stores in the coming months," added the manager.
Skull Rider, just as other specialized teach in sunglasses as Hawkers, Northweek or Miss Hamptons, is studying its jump to the street with the opening of own premises. "It's still early, but when we have a wider collection, will be a priority," says Herrera.
Rider Skull designs are made at its headquarters in Badalona. For its part, the manufacture of textiles takes place in external workshops Mataro (Barcelona), while the glasses are produced in China.
